The following rant took place via text message between myself and @Trevkor. Typos and all:
” good thing I rented the game or else I would have snapped the disc in half by now. So when you begin the game it tells you it AUTOSAVES. So I assumed it AUTOSAVED. like it fucking says it does. Well I’ve never played a Rock Star game before and apparently EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOU DIE IN A ROCK STAR GAME YOU GO ALLLLL THE WAY BACK TO YOUR LAST SAVED POINT. LAST SAVED POINT THAT YOU MANUALLY HAD TO FUCKING SAVE BECAUSE IT DOESNT AUTOSAVE. So I just played an hours worth of missions and even went through cut scenes only to get killed by a pack of PUSSY ASS WOLVES and find out that the whole hours worth of shit I did DIDNT FUCKIN SAVE BECAUSE I DIDNT MAKE A CAMPFIRE? A CAMPFIRE!? A FUCKING CAMPFIRE. I didn’t even know that’s how you had to save. I was searching the damn menu for a save button couldn’t find one and assumed it AUTOSAVED LIKE IT FUCKING TOLD ME IT WOULD. So now I’m back at the damn do da ranch with nothing done and no idea what saved and didn’t save and all my missions and inventory empty as if I JUST FUCKING STARTED PLAYING THR GAME!”
